It is extremely important that we have 100% attendance from parents and incoming freshmen.  Failure to attend will not only delay the enrollment process, but may prohibit students from receiving their courses of preference for the coming school year.

The following is the schedule for both January 23 & January 24.

6:00 p.m. – 6:50 p.m. - Parents are required to bring a certified birth certificate of their freshman student for verification purposes.  Please note hospital certificates are not accepted. Also, parents are to complete and return the Internet Access Form and Student Demographic Information Form both of which will be mailed home in early January.  Parents will pick up another information packet that evening.

6:00 p.m. – 6:50 p.m. - Students will need to have their picture taken for their 2019-2020 student ID card.  This will be taking place in the small gym.

6:00 p.m. – 6:50 p.m. - Teachers of Elective Courses, Activity Sponsors, and Athletic Coaches will be available to meet students and parents, to answer any questions regarding their area of interest, and to create a list of interested students for future contact.

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. - Meetings with the administration and counselors.

Each school is assigned a specific evening and only packets of information for their respective students will be available that evening.  In an effort to personalize the program as much as possible, counselors will meet with their future students in small groups.  It is important that the eighth grade student and his or her parents attend the appropriate session.  This is not an evening for siblings as they should not attend due to space limitations.  Our incoming freshman students remain our priority and are the focus of the evening.

If you know of any student that will be attending Grant High School in the fall of 2019, please spread the word about this very important evening.
