Grant Community High School is presenting the musical sensation, Little Shop of Horrors! The productions will be presented in Grant’s auditorium on April 21 at 7:00 p.m., April 22 at 7:00 p.m., and April 23 at 2:00 p.m.  Forty-six Grant students have been cast and even more are designing and will be operating the set, sound, lights, costumes, props, and styling 60’s hairdo’s! Musical artistic director, Jeffrey Austin, a Grant art teacher, will be creating 3 man-eating plants and our changing flower shop set. Choir teacher Krista Koske is directing our 6 talented doo wop girls, our memorable leads, and teaching the rest of the cast to croon along with beloved tunes. Grant’s band director, Ellen Skolar, will lead an all-student 4-piece ensemble to perform all the upbeat instrumental music. Grant’s new English and Theater teacher, Beth Suehr, is directing the production. Tyler Schaufel, a Grant parent, is designing and implementing moving lights for horrifying effects. GCHS graduate, Daniela (Muchova) Ziegler is choreographing 16 dance numbers. We are all hard at work to produce an entertaining and engaging theatrical experience for our student body and community. We hope you will attend!
