Student Parking

Permit Application
The application process is open for student parking permits for Seniors for the 2026-2027 school year. Parking is only available for Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores. Senior applications must be submitted before May 31st to ensure a permit. The application process for Juniors will begin June 1st. Sophomores can begin applying for a permit August 1st. There are a limited number of parking spaces available. The application process will then remain open until all spaces have been assigned.

Applicants must submit proof the student currently possesses a valid driver's license, and provide current vehicle registration and proof of valid insurance. Instructional driving permits do not qualify for parking permits. Applicants who do not submit all required documentation will be denied a permit. Spaces will be issued in the order valid requests are received. Preferred parking zone requests will be granted to seniors while availability allows it. Parking assignments are randomly assigned within each zone. If a student's preferred zone is unavailable, they will be randomly assigned to an available parking space.

Student Academic Qualifications:

Seniors - 15 credit minimum is required
Juniors - 10.5 credit minimum is required
Sophomores - 5 credit minimum is required

All students must be in good disciplinary standing, maintain regular attendance standards, and their obligations cannot exceed $150 owed at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Parking privileges may be restricted or revoked at any time as a result of a change in a student's disciplinary standing or if attendance standards are not met.

A parking permit for Zone 1, 2, or 3 is $100. For the 2026-2027 school year a permit in Zone 4 is free of charge. Parking permits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Q and A

  • Can I allow someone else to park in my assigned space?
    • No. Do not give permission for another student or unregistered vehicle to park in your assigned space. The student registered to the space, as well as the student improperly parking in the space are subject to disciplinary action and/or loss of permit.
  • Can I apply if I only have an Instructional Permit?
    • No. Instructional driving permits do not qualify you for a parking permit, and you must wait to submit proof when your valid driver’s license is received.
  • What do I do if someone is parked in my assigned space?
    • If another vehicle is parked in the space registered to you, park in a marked Visitor parking space by the main entrance and report directly to the safety desk in the main office to make notification.
  • What do I do if I drive a different vehicle than the one I registered?
    • If there is a need to park a vehicle other than the one you have obtained a permit for, please email parking@grantbulldogs.org and provide the temporary vehicle's license plate number, make, model, color, assigned permit number, and the length of time you will need to park the substitute vehicle.
  • What do I do if I have a Parking Violation Notice on my car?
    • If you are a student with a permit and you receive a Parking Violation Notice on your vehicle, it serves as a warning that you are parked in a space that is not assigned to you and that you are subject to school discipline if you continue to park improperly. Questions can be directed to parking@grantbulldogs.org.
  • What do I do if I have a tow warning sticker on my window?
    • Tow warning stickers may be placed on vehicles that do not have a valid permit displayed. Without a valid permit, there is no way to identify the owner of a vehicle. For safety reasons these vehicles receive a tow warning and may be towed from Grant property if the vehicle continues to park on Grant property. If you are a student and receive a sticker, it should serve as a warning that you cannot park on Grant property without first obtaining a permit. No further action is necessary. Questions can be directed to parking@grantbulldogs.org.
