Parking Information
Parking Permit Application Process
The time has arrived, and you now have the opportunity to apply and enter the 2025-2026 school year parking lottery. Please know that we only have a specific number of available spots to issue. In addition, every student is required to possess a valid driver's license to apply for a parking permit. A copy of your driver's license, registration, and vehicle insurance is required to obtain a permit.
The parking application will stay open until spring break 2026 (or until all parking spaces have been assigned), and students can apply anytime. Only apply if you have a valid driver's license. Although there are no guarantees, please indicate your preferred parking zone. Preference for a zone will be granted to seniors when possible. All specific parking assignments are randomly assigned within each zone. Once a student's preferred zone is filled they will be placed randomly in another zone.
December Graduates- please select the $50 payment to purchase the parking permit for the 1st semester only.
2nd Semester Applicants- students in zone four who would like to transition to zones 1, 2, or 3 will be allowed to do so based on a lottery/availability. For the second semester only, first-time students, pursuants of a GCHS parking permit will be placed in zone four.
Parking Application is currently open, and will stay open until spring break of the 25/26 school year (or until all spaces have been assigned). You will be notified through your Google student email if you receive a permit with payment information and how to pick up your permit. A parking permit for Zones 1, 2, & 3 is $100. For the 2025-2026 year, Zone 4 is free of charge.
Qualifications: Seniors need at least 15 credits, Juniors 10.5 credits, and Sophomores 5 credits at the beginning of the 25/26 school year. In addition, students must be in good disciplinary standing and their obligations cannot exceed $150 owed.
