2013 Inductees
Grant Community High School is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Fritz Kazlausky (Class of 1957) and Mr. Ron Hoehne (Class of 1974) as the first inductees to the Alumni Hall of Fame.
Mr. Ron Hoehne
Ron started his career in the Public Works Department for the Village of Fox Lake. He continued his education in firefighter and paramedic school. After becoming a firefighter, he quickly moved up the ranks. He served as Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, and then Chief of the Fox Lake Fire Department. Ron has many achievements, but is very proud to have earned the title of Firefighter of the Year. He is a dedicated family man who is committed to Grant Community High School and the Village of Fox Lake.
Mr. Fritz Kazlausky
Mr. Kazlausky was inducted into the Illinois Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1985, the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2003, and was honored by the American Baseball Coaches Association for his service to baseball.
Both inductees have achieved distinction in their profession and in their community. We wish to recognize both individuals for their loyalty and commitment to their alma mater, Grant Community High School.
