    Circulation Policies
Maximum checkouts: Each student may check out a maximum of four items.

Holds: If there's a book you would like that's currently checked out to another patron, you can place it on hold. Ask a librarian to place a hold at the circulation desk or you may use your Follett Destiny Account to place a hold on your own (directions here).  When the book you’ve requested becomes available, you'll receive a notice through your school email.  The item will be available at the circulation desk for three days from the date of your email.  If you do not pick up your hold item within three days, it will go back into circulation for other patrons.

Renewals: You may renew any item for an additional two weeks.  You may renew up to two times, and then you'll be asked to return the item.  To keep high-demand items available for everyone, you may not renew new titles, reference materials, special items, or books that are currently on hold for other patrons.

Late materials:  There are no late fines, however you will owe the cost of the book if it is not returned or is returned damaged. Prompt return of materials is expected from borrowers as a courtesy to other patrons.

Lost or damaged materials: Lost or damaged materials must be paid for by the borrower, and charges will go on your Skyward Account.  Refunds will be given if lost material is found before the library purchases the replacement item.

If you have an overdue or lost item, you will not be able to check out new materials until your account is clear.

    Library Expectations

Food and Beverages: In order to protect our books, furniture and equipment, students must finish food before coming into the library. Please use the Commons before school or your assigned cafeteria for lunch. All drinks must have a lid.

Access to the Library: All students are welcome to come to the library without a pass before and after school. During school hours, students must have a signed pass and a school ID.

If you have a split period study hall, please check in both periods or you will be marked absent.

TEAM Period: All students must have a TEAM pass from an academic teacher and complete work for that academic teacher.

Unless given permission, any student that comes to the library should remain until the end of the period.

    Copying and Printing

Xerox Black & White Copies: We are now able to make black and white copies and scan pages for you at no cost. Please see a librarian for assistance.

Printing Color Copies: 50¢ per page (cash only). Please come to the circulation desk. You may use a flash-drive, e-mail, or a shared link to a Google Doc to have the document printed from a librarian's computer.
