Bulldog Bucks are a tangible way to recognize positive behaviors at Grant. Students can turn their bucks in by placing them in bins located in the cafeteria. Every week two winners from each grade are drawn. Weekly winners can win candy, t-shirts, a free lunch and more! Quarterly winners earn bigger prizes, like dance tickets, donut parties or bookstore gift cards! They're also recognized in the announcements, on social media and on the website.
We see our students doing something positive every day. The Bulldog Pride award is a way to recognize those positive behaviors. The program was established to promote positive characteristics that are in line with our Keep It RED matrix. When students do something above and beyond, their behaviors can be recognized by Bulldog Pride. Eight students per month are selected to receive a Bulldog Pride award by being nominated by teachers and staff members throughout the school.
Students who are selected receive a Bulldog Pride lanyard, a free Domino's pizza lunch or a T-shirt, a Bulldog Pride certificate and recognition in the monthly newsletter, social media and school website. All nominated students will receive their nominations and a candy bar even if they do not get selected, that way they can see who nominated them and why.
