Who We Are
Initium is a group of students from all walks of the school who have come together to create an art and literature magazine. We have asked for any and all creative works from the student body to create something new and original. We have been meeting throughout the last three school years in an attempt to create something that annually reflects the creative and artistic side of the school.

What We Have
This is our third edition showcasing your creative work for the school to appreciate. Our team was encouraged by the work submitted over the past two years, and we decided to push forward this year to create a new edition of the magazine. Follow the link above to check out magazine. Past Submissions
We received more submissions this year than last year, and there were far more submissions than spots in the layout. If you submitted work that was not published, we appreciate your time and energy and look forward to receiving more work from you next year. Our team would like to thank everyone who submitted work for the magazine. We were impressed with the quality of work and look forward to even more submissions next year. If work was submitted that you would like returned to you, or if work was submitted that was not properly identified see Mr. Schmidt in Room 232.

2009/2010 Submissions
Submissions will be collected again beginning in the fall of 2009. Starting in August of 2009 come to room 232 and see Mr. Schmidt with submissions and questions. We will stop collecting submissions during the 3rd quarter. So, anything you want us to review and publish must be submitted by then. We are excited to see the new work that you are working end up in next year's magazine.

2009/2010 Positions
We are always looking for students who are interested in participating on the editing and layout team. We need people who are interested in writing, artwork, literature, and computer layout and design. We will assemble our team during the fall of 2009. Check this posting frequently for updates. See Mr. Schmidt in Room 232 with questions.
