Attention all male and female athletes interested in being a part of the upcoming season! There will be an open tryout on Friday, May 18th at 3:05 p.m. in the gym. Any prospective athletes should see the coaches or the Athletics home page for a packet. Packets must be filled out and returned prior to tryouts! This tryout is open to any incoming freshmen-current junior students who are not already a part of the upcoming season. See you then!

Congratulations to your Varsity cheerleaders on their 5th place State finish. They
concluded a record-breaking season with the following accomplishments:
*1st IHSA recognized Grant Coed Varsity Team
*1st Grant Cheerleading Squad to win the North Suburban Conference
*1st Grant Cheerleading Squad to win a Sectional Competition
*1st Place in the Prairie Division
*Five 1st Place competition finishes
*Fifth Place in the IHSA State Finals

Congratulations to the Varsity Cheerleading Squad for winning their Sectional and qualifying for the IHSA State Finals this Friday and Saturday in Bloomington, Normal. This is the first time in Grant history that the cheerleaders have been Sectional Champions! They put forth another great routine, and are eager to represent Grant in the State Finals. Best of luck!
The team will perform at 8:20 p.m. on Friday for the preliminary round. There will be a live feed available at IHSA.org for those unable to attend the event.

The Grant Varsity Cheerleaders had another successful competitive weekend at the Grayslake North Invitational.
Your JV cheerleaders brought home another trophy, placed 1st out of 9 teams, and ended their competitive season on a great note.

Your Varsity cheerleaders continued their winning streak, and placed 1st out of 16 high-caliber teams. They are preparing for their one chance to qualify for the State Finals at their Sectional at Belvidere High School on January 28th. Thank you to all of the fans, and congratulations, champions!
