National Honor Society
Character, scholarship, service and leadership determine selection into the National Honor Society.  Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply.  Members are expected to participate in numerous school-related events. (i.e., induction ceremony and spaghetti dinner.)

Student Council
This group consists of selected representatives from each class who are involved in school-related activities and community service projects.

T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More)
Leadership group serving student needs and recognizing their accomplishments.
Sponsor: Mr. Tom Evans

Academic Team
A collection of students that focus in specific areas of the curriculum.  They compete in a team jeopardy type format against other schools and focus not only on answering tough questions but answering very quickly.

Art Club
Students use time for class art projects or school art projects, i.e., set-painting, school design or mural painting. Meetings dates are Tuessday and Thursday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in Room 110.

Environmental Club
This club is concerned about the environment and works to promote conservation efforts at Grant Community High School.  One of our primary goals is to provide information for others who are concerned about the environment or  wish to participate in recycling efforts.

Chess Club
An opportunity to learn the fundamentals and strategies of the game of chess. Plenty of opportunities to play other players and learn the tricks of the game.

Film Club
An opportunity to learn about various films in American and World History that have made an impact somewhere. A variety of themes will be discussed.

Debate Club
An opportunity to learn the fundamentals of deliverying a debate and structuring an argument.

Snowdogs Club
The Snowdogs enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin six times a year.

Chamber Singers/Women's Ensemble
These auditioned choirs rehearse 2 days a week after school and perform at school concerts and community events.  They perform all styles of music from classical to pop.

Barbershop/Sweet Adeline's Ensemble
These groups focus on the singing of barbershop syle music.  They are non-auditioned groups that meet 1 day a week after school.  They perform at school concerts, barbershop festivals and community events.

Flag Corps
This group is part of the Marching Band and performs at home football games, parades, and contests.

Winter Flags Corps
This group performs at home basketball games and competitions

Jazz Band
The Jazz Band performs in numerous concerts and contests as well as at many community functions throughout the year.
